Wayne Osmond, a founding member of the 1970s hit-making family band The Osmonds, has passed away at the age of 73. Wayne was a talented singer and guitarist, co-writing many of the group’s iconic hits, including Crazy Horses, Goin’ Home, and Let Me In.
“Wayne brought so much light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him, especially me,” wrote his brother Donny Osmond. “He was the ultimate optimist and was loved by everyone.”
Another brother, Merrill Osmond, described Wayne as “a genius in his ability to write music,” adding that his work “captured the hearts of millions and brought them closer to God.”
