David Schwimmer has revealed that he once served Scottish singer Sir Rod Stewart with divorce papers while working a summer job during his university years.

Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the Friends actor recounted the brief stint that brought him face-to-face with Sir Rod, adding that he has “never run into him since.”

“After my freshman year in college, I was just looking for work, and my mum suggested I could be a process server for her,” said the 58-year-old Schwimmer.
