Lynn Ban, star of Netflix’s reality show Bling Empire: New York, has passed away following brain surgery necessitated by a skiing accident.

The 51-year-old Singaporean jewellery designer died on Monday, as announced by her son, Sebastian, on social media. Her passing comes just weeks after undergoing emergency brain surgery due to the accident.

Last month, Ban, who resided in New York, revealed on Instagram that she had suffered “a ski accident that would change my life” while holidaying in Aspen on Christmas Eve.
