Lawyers representing the man accused of killing rap icon Tupac Shakur are examining evidence that could suggest an alternative cause of death.
Duane “Keffe D” Davis is the sole surviving occupant of the vehicle from which shots were fired in Las Vegas, Nevada, on 7 September 1996.
Shakur succumbed to his injuries six days later.
Davis’s legal team claims to have witness testimony indicating that Shakur was in stable condition after the shooting.
They are now consulting medical and forensic experts to explore possible alternative explanations for his death.
