Taylor Swift has overtaken Madonna to become the female artist with the most UK number-one albums, securing her 13th chart-topping record.
The 35-year-old US superstar achieved the biggest opening week of the year so far following the release of a special heart-shaped vinyl edition of her Lover (Live In Paris) album ahead of Valentine’s Day on Friday.
The record, featuring live performances from her one-off City Of Lover concert in Paris in 2019, sold 47,000 units this week, according to the Official Charts Company.
Swift had previously shared the record with Madonna, 66, with both artists holding 12 UK number-one albums each.
