Peaky Blinders will extend beyond the upcoming film, according to creator Steven Knight, fuelling speculation about a possible new series.

Speaking on Tuesday, Knight described the progress on the movie as “fantastic” and called it “a very fitting way to end this part of the Peaky Blinders story.”

When pressed by presenters Jon Kay and Sarah Campbell on what he meant by “this part,” Knight teased: “It’s not over, let’s just put it like that. I’m not allowed to announce anything… but I will say that the world of Peaky Blinders will continue.”
