Rick Buckler, the former drummer of The Jam, has passed away at the age of 69, his former bandmates confirmed on social media.

The Jam gained prominence during the late 1970s punk and new wave movement, playing a key role in reviving mod fashion and music. Fronted by singer and guitarist Paul Weller, the band left a lasting impact on the era. Weller expressed his grief on X, stating he was “shocked and saddened” by Buckler’s passing.
