Australian soap Neighbours has been cancelled once again, just two years after being revived by Amazon MGM Studios.
Without providing a specific reason, Amazon confirmed that the series will conclude at the end of 2025—marking 40 years and over 9,000 episodes since its television debut.
Originally axed by Channel 5 in 2022, the show was swiftly revived by Amazon for its streaming platforms just four months after a star-studded farewell episode that drew millions of viewers.
The soap, which launched the careers of Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce, and Margot Robbie, has been a firm favourite with audiences in both Australia and the UK. Last year, it also earned its first-ever Emmy nomination.
