Ryan Gosling is set to star in a new Star Wars film, scheduled for release in two years.

The upcoming Disney production, titled Star Wars: Starfighter, will be directed by Deadpool & Wolverine filmmaker Shawn Levy.

“This script is genuinely incredible — the story is compelling, with fresh, original characters,” Gosling said during a Star Wars Celebration event in Tokyo.
